Zakia Haque

Zakia Haque is the Managing Director of Creative Pathways, a newly established research and business firm which aims to facilitate public private partnership in the region through research, partnership, capacity building on private sector engagement in Bangladesh. She is also Local Representative for CCR CSR- a Hong Kong based child rights and business organization for child rights remediation at RMG sector and promoting Child Rights Based Business Principles. She has 16 years of working experience on rights-based development approach, advocacy and campaign programme while mainstreaming women and children’s rights. Haque has managed different projects on climate resilience and adaptation model, nation-wide campaign on food security and climate change adaptation while linking local actors, Government and private sectors at different stages of implementation. Haque also served as Short Term Consultant (STC) for International Finance Corporation (IFC)- World Bank Group as Local Representative for SME capacity building and entrepreneurship development initiative for a leading telecommunication sector in Bangladesh. She also worked for SUDOKKHO a project of Swiss Contact, SDC and UK Aid for supporting the development of training manuals, toolkits on Private Sector Engagement.
