Bindu Bhandari 

Bindu Bhandari is an ardent environmental campaigner from Chitwan, Nepal. She graduated in Veterinary Science from Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science (IAAS), Rampur, Nepal. Currently, Bhandari is working as Vice President of CliMates, an international think and action tank on climate change.

Bhandari attended 21st session of United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 21) at Paris, France in 2015 and COP 22 at Marrakech Morocco in 2016 as an observer from CliMates. Owing to her activism in social and environmental dimensions she has been awarded with several national and international awards. To list few, Bhandari was recognized as the Best Regional Ambassador of Tunza Eco- generation in 2015, honored as Collegiate Ambassador for Peace by Universal Peace Federation, Awarded as Rotaract Star by Rotaract District 3292 Nepal-Bhutan, honored for Inspiring Volunteer Story by UN Volunteers Nepal in 2014. She was selected as Global Facilitator for Global Youth Eco-Leadership Summit 2015, Seoul South Korea. Bhandari has been advocating on youth inclusion at all levels of decision making to achieve SDGs and aspire to purse her career as a researcher in climate governance and policy making.
