Workshops
To gain a better understanding on disaster risk reduction (DRR) related to water-induced disasters, a national-level consultation is to be organized in Kathmandu from 23 to 24 September 2019 to bring together representatives from the public and development sectors to discuss strategies to improve disaster risk reduction (DRR) within the Koshi basin. The aim of the consultation is to strengthen the Koshi Disaster Risk Reduction Knowledge Hub (KDKH), a transboundary collaborative initiative which fosters cooperation among the basin member countries – China, Nepal, and India – to address disasters and their management collectively.
