How do you protect the pulse of the planet?
I contribute to protecting the pulse of the planet through my personal life choices and through my work. For the past couple of years, I started to change some of my personal life activities like reusing or cutting down on plastic products as far as possible and lowering my consumption of meat, which will create a positive impact on the environment. Besides my individual acts, my work enables me to create public awareness through our website about ICIMOD’s mission and vision and its key findings to protect the mountains and people of the region.
What is your favorite part of the work you do at ICIMOD?
The motivating working environment, multiculturalism and the opportunities to learn every single day. I couldn’t ask for a better institution to develop both in my professional and in my personal life.
What are you passionate about?
I have a variety of passions: innovations and learning about innovators and entrepreneurs, watching/playing football, music, cooking, exploring new places and listening about life experiences.
My qualifications
I have a Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from Tribhuvan University, Nepal.
