नेपालको हिमालय क्षेत्रमा रहेका केही हिमतालहरु फुट्ने जोखिम रहेकाले सतर्कता अपनाउन विज्ञहरुले सुझाव दिएका छन् । जलवायु परिवर्तनको कारण नेपालका २१ ओटा हिमतालहरु फुट्ने खतरा रहेकोले सतर्कता अपनाउन विज्ञहरुको सुझाव दिएका हुन् । अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय एकीकृत पर्वतीय विकास केन्द्र र राष्ट्रसंघीय विकास कार्यक्रमले सार्वजनिक गरेको प्रतिवेदनले हिमताल फुट्ने खतरा रहेको देखाएको हो ।
