Training
The overall objective of the training is to support beekeeping development in Himalica and SAPLING pilot project sites in Ruma, Bandarban in the Chittagong Hill Tracts. The training aims to promote apiculture as a livelihood option for rural communities by building the capacity of key farmers and partners in strengthening beekeeping and the honey value chain. It will help build farmers’ knowledge and skills in relation to bee management using improved methods not only for the honey value chain but also for crop pollination, enhancing the livelihood resilience of hill communities.
