वन अनुसन्धान तथा तालिम केन्द्रले पृथ्वी दिवसको अवसर पारेर नेपालको राष्ट्रिय भूआवरण अनुगमन प्रणाली सुरु गरेको घोषणा गरेको छ । यस प्रणालीले क्लाउड कम्प्युटिङ र आर्टिफिसियल इन्टेलिजेन्सको प्रयोग गरी हरेक वर्ष कति क्षेत्र वनजङ्गल, सिमसार, कृषिभूमि, अन्य प्रकारका भूमि र जलीय प्रकारले ढाकेका छन् भन्ने सम्बन्धमा नियमित रूपमा डाटा उत्पन्न गर्नेछ ।
