Training
Under Nepal’s new federal governance structure, local government bodies are at various stages of developing their five- year periodic plans. The plans will encompass various sectors including natural resources, health, education, agriculture, and infrastructure, among others. Natural resources are integral to the livelihoods of rural communities in Nepal. Both men and women are engaged in the use of these resources, yet their management is largely dominated by men.
