Debabrat Sukla is a Senior Communication Officer for ICIMOD’s work on Climate and Environmental Risks, focusing on Managing Cryosphere and Water Risks and Action on Clean Air.

He has held his current position since 2023. Prior to this, he headed communications, marketing and growth for a human-centred design startup in New Delhi.

Debabrat has contributed articles to Dialogue Earth and Down to Earth, and peer-reviewed articles to the Bulletin of the American Meteorological Society, and Science of the Total Environment.

He holds a master’s degree in Environmental Science and Development Studies.
