Prashant Kumar Upadhyay

Prashant Upadhyay is a Senior Administration and Logistics Officer at ICIMOD since 2024, leading the Administration and Logistics unit. His responsibilities include procurement, store and inventory management, office and facilities management, and safety and security.

Prashant has over eighteen years of professional experience in the development and humanitarian sector focusing on administration, logistics, procurement, fleet, warehouse, safety and security, and risk mitigation to optimise operations. He previously worked for the DAI/USAID Biodiversity activity, Plan International Nepal, and the DFID-Community Support Programme among others. He also worked as Logistics and Procurement Specialist for crisis responses in Ethiopia, Bangladesh, and Mozambique.

Prashant holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Logistics Management.
