Entrepreneurship Development

The training is aimed at young women and men with an entrepreneurial bent who are interested in setting up enterprises not just confined to vegetable value chains but also in exploring other possibilities for enterprise development in Barshong. The overall objective is to orient trainees on entrepreneurship development so that they understand the basics of business planning and are motivated to start new ventures in the future.

The training also contributes to the Support to Rural Livelihoods and Climate Change Adaptation in the Himalaya (Himalica) initiative’s objective of unlocking rural livelihood opportunities and identifying ways to harness rural enterprise development in a way that contributes to the sustainable livelihoods of rural mountain people.
