International Women’s Day 2020 celebration

Celebrating International Women’s Day 2020 at ICIMOD

International Women’s Day is celebrated throughout the globe on 8 March every year to appreciate the remarkable contributions of women to our society. This day is dedicated to honouring the life, struggles, and determination of women. This year’s theme is “EachforEquality – An equal world is an enabled world”. ICIMOD is promoting the theme “Changing self for equality in the HKH” for a more mountain-specific approach.

As in the past, ICIMOD will be celebrating this important day by organizing various programmes in-house on Friday, 6 March 2020:
