Knowledge Management and Knowledge Sharing comprises a range of approaches and practices used in an organisation to identify, create, represent, distribute, and enable adoption and learning of insights and experiences. Such insights and experiences comprise knowledge, either embodied in individuals or embedded in organisational processes or practices.

ICIMOD in collaboration with FAO and IFAD is organising three related yet independent workshops on knowledge sharing tools and approaches, writing, and a methodology for organising, documenting and communicating knowledge called systematisation. The workshops will provide project staff with the basic skills and tools required to ensure that knowledge, development experience, and lessons learned from them are adequately captured and shared.
