Workshop
ICIMOD is implementing the Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) brick initiative in the South Asia which aims at achieving substantial reductions of Short-Lived Climate Pollutants from the brick sector. As a part of this initiative, FNBI in collaboration with MinErgy is assisting ICIMOD in preparing a National Strategic Policy Actions, which is expected to provide decision makers necessary tools and information for effective policies formulation and policy implementation to transform the brick-making sector.

The team will present the draft National Strategic Policy Actions in the workshop for further discussion, feedback and refinement. It will provide platform to identify common issues/challenges, share on-going efforts and good practices and discuss on possible future actions to improve brick kiln conditions. The workshop will be attended by key government stakeholders, brick entrepreneurs, development partners, experts and other stakeholders engaged in the sector.
