The meeting will provide decision makers and representatives of the national governments of Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Pakistan with an overview of existing solutions that could be adopted to make the brick sectors in these countries cleaner and more sustainable. It will serve as a platform for bringing together decision makers and brick entrepreneurs from these countries to discuss existing policies, gaps and issues, as well as a way forward for the brick sector in Asia.

Subject experts will present issue briefs on the brick sector in each of these countries during the event. These will be finalized with inputs from all stakeholders concerned. Information on cleaner technologies and tools from China, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Latin America will be shared at the meeting and their possible adoption in South Asia discussed.
