Grant resources
SANDEE supports research in the area of environment and development economics. SANDEE funded research is generally undertaken by individuals or teams from different institutions in South Asia. SANDEE facilitates this research by providing monetary and technical support during the research period through its advisors and the Secretariat. Researchers submit their grant proposals through the following processes:
Researchers send a concept note in response to an advertisement and are invited to send a full proposal based on an initial screening; or researchers are requested, under certain circumstances (for certain types of grants), to submit a research proposal:
These are a set of Model questionnaires that can be used with modification by researchers for their work. This questionnaire prototype has been developed by Shubhayu Saha of North Carolina State University for SANDEE. It is primarily intended for researchers involved in studying rural livelihoods. The questionnaires are intended to serve as templates that can be modified to address more context-specific questions.
