Chandrakala Mungamuru

Chandrakala Mungamuru works as a Senior Programme Finance Officer (Partnerships Admin) at ICIMOD since July 2024. With over 15 years of expertise in project finance, budgeting and forecasting, grants portfolio management, partnership administration, and ERP systems, she brings a extensive expertise and strategic insight to her role.

Prior to joining ICIMOD, Chandrakala dedicated over 11 years to the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT), where she served as an Associate Manager in Project Finance. In this capacity, she led the project finance team, overseeing strategic financial planning, compliance and operational efficiency. Her contributions were instrumental in managing complex international projects, ensuring adherence to financial regulations, and delivering outcomes across diverse regions.

Chandrakala holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialisation in Finance and has successfully completed CA Professional Education II.
