Deanna Sherpa

Deanna Sherpa is a Programme Associate for the Action Area – Stimulating Action for Clean Air at ICIMOD, where she has been working since 2023. She holds a strong background in human resource management, finance, and administration, having previously worked in the financial and human resources sectors for three years. Deanna earned her MBA and BA in management, cum laude, from Webster University.

In her current position, she serves as the primary contact for all administrative and logistics matters within the Action Area. Her role encompasses event planning, organising regional- and national-level workshops, resource management, data management, stakeholder communication, and financial settlements.

Beyond her role at ICIMOD, Deanna is an active member of the Global Shapers Kathmandu Hub, an initiative of the World Economic Forum, where she volunteers her time for activities that create a positive impact on society.
