Neraz Tuladhar (Raz)

Neraz (Raz) Tuladhar is a Media Officer at ICIMOD. He works on disseminating the organisation’s key messages through various channels. In particular, he focuses on developing media outreach strategies and communicating climate science to the public, the media and other key stakeholders.

With more than 12 years of experience crafting impactful communications strategies, Raz has demonstrably increased brand awareness and media coverage for inter-governmental knowledge centres, non-profits, and start-ups. He has collaborated with renowned media outlets like The Times, Sky News, BBC, Reuters, New York Times, NBC, and CBS to secure placements and amplify key messages, leading to impactful calls to action.

Raz leverages his dual master’s degrees, both obtained from the United States, in Communications & Journalism and Business Administration (International Affairs) to bridge the gap between strategic communication and data-driven decision-making. His proficiency in data analysis and visualization empowers him to craft informed communication plans and track their effectiveness.
