Sachin Manandhar

Sachin joined ICIMOD in July 2024. He is passionate about leveraging earth science and data to improve lives. He believes in the power of digital systems to create impactful solutions for communities and to connect the world through technology. He is committed to driving digital transformation and building tools that help decision-makers manage, and assess natural resources, promoting sustainability.

At ICIMOD, he has contributed to the development of the Decision support system for spring revival and the nature-based solutions (NbS) toolkit as a consultant. His current work involves studying requirements and performing full-stack development of applications based on project needs, while also enhancing existing systems.

Sachin’s interests lie in developing interactive portals, predictive models, geospatial 3D visualisations, and data management systems.

Before joining ICIMOD, he worked as a developer in several projects, including National Reconstruction Portal, Infrastructure Sustainability Intelligence Tool, Volunteering Management and Mobilising System, Content Management System, Virtual Touring and Building Information System.
