The session was joined by 37 people from different parts of the world including researchers, librarians, information management specialists, and software developers. It was organized by Agricultural Information Management Standards (AIMS) and co-sponsored by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), CIARD, Instituto Interamericano de Cooperación para la Agricultura (IICA), and ICIMOD.
