INSTITUTIONAL FUNCTION
Working together with partners who give us greater presence on the ground, we forge regional integration on critical issues among our eight Regional Member Countries (RMCs). Enhancing and strengthening partnerships in the HKH and outside is a key priority for us.
Our transboundary programme design helps countries address shared challenges. We develop and customize methodologies and tools, and carry out innovative applied research to support programme development. Our regional programmes have regional and operational partners, including government agencies, who support us in implementing programmes and achieving impact. We work to empower our RMCs and their people through strategic implementation of interventions informed and strengthened by our research.
